Goal setting is a tool that many business owners and bloggers daily use to grow and create. While some people achieve new goals daily, some of us (like me) are great with coming up with goals. But actually achieving them is not my forte.
Example a. ; At the end of last year, I made an editor calendar for this blog that was well balanced and thought out. We are nine days into the new year and I already lost it. And that while it was actually one of my goals to be more organized.

Welcome to the new year. The year of success! But to make this year a success, we, of course, need to get some things ready in this first month that will help us.
Like many people I started this year with some wild plans. And like may people some of those plans I will probably forget within the first few weeks and not think about again until the next year. But I really wanted to make and effort to get my business, blog and art goals going.
Therefore, I made sure I did these things in the first month (even the first week) that will help me make these things come through.
These things work for any goals, but I will be mostly talking about business and blogging.

New Year is the time for new years resolutions. If you are a well-organised person that has their life together, you probably did some actual planning and instead of me you already made some great goals already.
But I like planning at the last possible moment. And thus I write my goals in this post on the afternoon of the 31 of December. You just started up your new art or illustration blog. You are sharing all your new works, creating incredible content and getting ready to sell some work.

Now granted a lot of those bloggers have better photography skills and better cameras, but they also have gorgeous stuff. I might not have the practice yet, and those cameras are expensive. But I can and will have pretty blog props that allow me to beautiful style my pictures.

Imagine this; It is the last day before my break and instead of working on said break I’m running around stressing because I still need to make sure everything is done for the holidays. Not the most relaxed ways to start a break.

I am subscribed to loads of blogger’s newsletters and there are some things that I think is really important in newsletters that we don’t talk about all that much. How do you create readable email newsletters? And how do I make a newsletter beautiful?
This might sound strange but there are email newsletters that are just a big block of letters. Just to be clear this is not always bad, but there are just some pointers that I think are very important.
When an email letter looks boring (or like spam) I am much less likely to open it. And if I do open it and it is just a block of letters I might not read it still.
