Only 4 months left. This month started slowly. But when I changed strategies and started trying to reach out more it all seemed to pick up!
This month is actually the first in some months that I actually see growth and feel like I am moving forward.
Do you sometimes feel like your blog is a little bit generic? I have used the very basic WordPress theme for this site so it would load quickly. But with that comes that it doesn’t look very exciting. My biggest problem was with some if the pages that I just didn’t like at all.
This past week I have been working very hard to make my blog fit my personal style while making it look better. One of my goals was to update old HTML pages to something more lively and exciting.
How I sped up my WordPress loading time from 40 to 4 seconds
A lot of people tend to click away when your site takes too long to load. The general loading speed for a web page is about 8 seconds, but most people click away long before that! A fast loading site is crucial to keep you audience on your site.
Unfortunately, I don’t know a lot about computers and certainly not about all the terms like CDN and Gzip compression. But I still sped up my website by 400% without knowing any of this.
Confident about blogging in English? Many people choose to write their blog in English even when it is not their native language. Mostly because it gives you a much bigger audience and a chance to connect internationally.
However, when English isn’t your first language, blogging in it can feel a little bit daunting.
Artists are their own worse critiques. Sometimes it is hard to see your own progress or to like your own work. The only way to really get better, however, is to keep drawing and to stay motivated. Tracking your growth can be a motivation to keep drawing
